Full Job Description Introduction:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Expeditor to join our team and assist with the daily operation of our restaurant's kitchen. The Expeditor will responsible for directing the flow of the kitchen, final garnishing on plates, upholding time and quality standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with various tasks as needed. The successful candidate will have strong teamwork skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Expedite and plate food according to restaurant standards and recipes Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including adhering to cleaning schedules and safety protocols Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with various tasks as needed, including inventory management and food prep Follow instructions and guidelines from the kitchen manager and chefs Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a high volume kitchen or food service role Strong teamwork skills Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume service Knowledge of food safety guidelines Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
