- Lead weekly and monthly planning meetings
- Responsible for updating ERP on a regular basis
- Develop schedules of work for production departments
- Provide Manufacturing with schedule Priorities and production requirements to meet the Master Production Plan
- Ensure On Time Delivery to customer metric is achieved
- Responsible for tracking and continuously improving key performance indicators for the Supply Chain
- Support new product development through cooperation among departments and managing loads
- Provide operations with appropriate work instructions to complete production requirements
- Create and issue production orders to the operations departments
- Lead continuous improvements in the materials functions through lean manufacturing techniques
- Recommend improvements to the planning and execution processes
- Interface with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to achieve quality and cost goals
- Maintain an MRP Class A level of performance
- Perform other related duties as required

- Planning and Organizing Candidate skills & requirements:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent college credit required
- Bachelor of Science Degree Preferred
- Three to five years of experience in a production planning or material management function
- APICS certification desirable
- SAP IBP knowledge preferred
- Strong computer skills that include Microsoft Office and other traceability /planning software
- ERP experience within the materials function strongly preferred But what else?
