More information about this job Overview The Tool Manager & Expeditor is responsible for overseeing the tool room and maintaining a continuous inventory of all tools. Must be able to track tools on a day-to-day basis as they are issued and monitor shortages or lost tools. Will need to complete assured grounding training. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. Will be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting. Responsibilities

•The following are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for this position. Maintain maintenance log, as well as a log or system for tracking the movement and location of tools Perform routine maintenance on small engines such as generators, sand tamps, water pumps, etc.. Complete repairs, tag, or replace broken tools Inspect extension cords and power cords for broken wires, cracked insulation, or other damages Replace broken handles of hammers, shovels and similar tools Assist other craft workers as needed

Qualifications Physical:

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee may be required to: Remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods during office work and meetings. Move periodically across office settings, client venues, and active project or site locations. Operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. Frequently communicate and exchange accurate information in person, electronically, and during virtual or telephone meetings. Lift or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Mental:

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee may be required to: Direct, collaborate with, and communicate with executives, clients, and project teams. Interpret and apply company policies, safety protocols, and written instructions. Perform mathematical calculations, analyze business data, and review project estimates. Maintain accuracy, productivity, and attention to detail while managing competing priorities in an active office environment with frequent interruptions. Process, retain, and manage complex project details, contractual requirements, and client data.
