Position Summary Committee to Elect Lauren Jewett for Congress seeks a Scheduler, Body Person and Driver to manage the candidate's calendar, coordinate logistics, and accompany the candidate to campaign events, meetings, and media appearances throughout Louisiana's 1st Congressional District. This position works closely with the candidate and senior staff and requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a high degree of discretion. Key Responsibilities Manage the candidate's calendar, including receiving, vetting, and confirming event and meeting requests in coordination with the Campaign Manager Prepare daily schedules and event briefings with logistics, contacts, attendee information, and relevant background Serve as primary point of contact for event hosts, partner organizations, and outside schedulers Provide safe and timely transportation for the candidate to all scheduled activities Plan travel routes and coordinate parking and arrival logistics Staff the candidate at events, including managing timelines, collecting supporter and donor contact information, and capturing photos and video for campaign communications Track and route post-event follow-up to appropriate staff Maintain confidentiality regarding campaign matters and the candidate's schedule Qualifications Valid Louisiana driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record Based on the south shore of New Orleans, close to or in Jefferson Parish Working knowledge of the New Orleans metro area and surrounding parishes Strong attention to detail and time management Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work evenings and weekends, with increased hours approaching Election Day Proficiency with Google Workspace and mobile scheduling tools Prior campaign, scheduling, or executive support experience preferred Terms of Employment This is a part-time position running through Election Day, November 3rd.
