Job Description
Immediate opening for a busy medical office in Newburyport. We are looking for an energetic, friendly individual with the ability to multitask. Medical office experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Answering inbound calls to schedule appointments
- Enter and update patient information accurately, including health insurance and referrals
- Communicate effectively with patients to provide information and answer questions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns and resolving issues
- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette and professionalism at all times
- Perform various office tasks
- scanning, copying, faxing
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professionalism The position also includes working at the front desk periodically.
