Job Description
Job Summary The Scheduler and Planner is responsible for coordinating and scheduling calibration and maintenance activities in support of site operations. The successful candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented individual who works effectively as part of a diverse, high-performing team. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. The Scheduler and Planner works closely with technicians, internal customers, vendors, and management to support timely execution of scheduled calibration and maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule internal calibration and maintenance activities in coordination with technicians, internal customers, and management to minimize operational disruption. Perform assigned planning and scheduling activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), escalating questions or issues as appropriate. Utilizes Blue Mountain RAM R4 to support maintenance, calibration, and asset management activities. Prepare, update, and maintain maintenance and calibration schedules based on established operational priorities. Generate routine reports and metrics from RAM R4 to support tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs). Monitor scheduling and maintenance information for potential delays, conflicts, or deficiencies and escalate concerns to appropriate personnel. Coordinates with appropriate personnel regarding service agreements and approved vendors. Assists in the evaluation of calibration and maintenance vendors for quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Schedule and coordinate external calibration, preventative maintenance, and repair of client and internal standards, including shipment, vendor coordination, documentation receipt, and return-to-service activities in accordance with Metrology Program requirements. Escort vendors, or coordinates vendor escorts with the applicable SME, and ensures services are executed to completion with proper documentation. Coordinate with Engineering, Facilities, Metrology, and other applicable personnel to help ensure required materials and resources are available for scheduled calibration and maintenance activities. Collaborate with appropriate personnel to plan activities and resource allocation associated with scheduled plant outages. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding scheduling needs, changes, and issues. Participate in required training and maintain compliance with site safety and quality requirements. Experience, Skills & Physical Requirements 2+ years of scheduling/planning experience. 1+ years of pharmaceutical or GMP industry planning and scheduling preferred. Familiarity with equipment maintenance, calibration, facilities operations, or asset management preferred. Experience with Blue Mountain RAM R4 or another computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including standing and walking for extended periods; bending, crouching, kneeling, and reaching; climbing and working from ladders; using hand and power tools; and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Pay:
$30.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per weekBenefits:
