Paper Maintenance Operations About the Role The Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC) plays a key role in maximizing the safety, reliability, and performance of the Paper Mill. This position sits at the center of operations, maintenance, and reliability—ensuring equipment runs effectively, downtime is minimized, and production goals are met. It is a visible leadership role with direct impact on asset performance and cost management. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and external vendors. Coordinate and prioritize daily and weekly maintenance work. Lead planning and execution of maintenance and clothing outages (Outage Captain). Manage maintenance budgets, forecasting, and cost improvements. Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance activities are executed. Lead Natural Work Teams and reinforce work management practices. Partner with Reliability Engineering to resolve complex equipment issues. Participate in periodic weekend maintenance duty coverage. What You Bring Strong safety leadership mindset. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial maintenance experience. 8+ years of operations or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment(pulp & paper, power generation, chemical, or heavy industry preferred). Hands-on understanding of equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning. Experience leading or coordinating maintenance teams, trades, or planners. Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance work management processes. Strong communication and ability to drive alignment across teams. Ready to Make an Impact?
