Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Import and update customer releases daily. Establish and maintain scheduling (including new parts) parameters within ERP/MRP systems. Create and maintain all production and service BOMs. Coordinate BOM reviews with Engineering and Program Management. Analyze customer schedules for volume and mix fluctuations and identify capacity or lead time violations in releases by creating weekly diamond charts to proactively flag potential issues. Develop forecasts and scheduling analyses to proactively identify risks. Ensure finished goods inventory accuracy. Drive supplier release accuracy and material availability. Support customer service goals and Planning for Service requirements. Coordinate transition from production volume requirements to service part requirements. Maintain service planning data and service BOM structures. Generate and maintain customer ship schedules. Monitor customer scorecards and investigate delivery performance concerns. Submit obsolete inventory and service part claims through customer systems. Serve as customer contact for scheduling and delivery issues 24 hours/ day Complete and submit customer required documents including MMOG, Packaging Data, No Surprise Reports and contact information. Create shipping documentation and ensure ASN accuracy. Enter and reconcile daily scrap transactions into the ERP system. Support both inventory discrepancy investigations and corrective actions. Responsible to help meet department KOI targets and support continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental, OSHA, MIOSHA and Magna requirements Must have strong discrepancy problem solving skills
Education/Certification/Licensure :
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, engineering or related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
EXPEIRENCE
: Minimum three (3) years of scheduling, materials planning, logistics or supply chain experience in a Tier One automotive manufacturing environment. Experience supporting JIT/JIS operations preferred. Experience with customer release management and service parts planning preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL ABILITIES
: Work performed in an office and manufacturing plant environments. Average mobility to move around a office environment, able to conduct a normal amount of work at a computer. Frequently exposed to varying temperature(s) within a plant depending upon external weather conditions. Frequently exposed to dust, odors, fumes, and noise. Frequently walks, stands, grips/grasps, bends/stoops, crouches; and lifts and carries up to twenty-five (25) lbs. within the manufacturing plant environment.
