ALIPRO is seeking a skilled Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) on behalf of our client, DTE (Detroit Edison) . This is a long-term, 2+ year contract role embedded within DTE's PMO space, supporting critical energy and utility infrastructure initiatives.

Pay Rate:
Up to $42.00 / hour
Duration:
24+ Months (Long-term contract)
Key Responsibilities Schedule Development & Control:
Create, maintain, and resource-level master and detailed integrated schedules using WBS, logical sequencing, cost/labor loading, and milestone management.
Critical Path & Delay Analysis:
Monitor schedule execution, conduct time impact/delay analyses, assess critical path risks, and establish recovery plans or alternate action routes.
PMO Support:
Apply standard methods, guidelines, and CPM software tools to assist project teams in turning high-level project plans into actionable schedules.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Prepare clear progress reports, trending charts, schedule forecasts, and quality assessments for project teams and leadership.
Process Improvement:
Record historical schedule data and lessons learned to ensure credibility and drive continuous improvement across the PMO. Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience Tracks (Must meet ONE): Track 1: Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or related) + 3+ years of job-relevant experience. Track 2: Associate degree (Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Accounting, Math, or related) + 5+ years of job-relevant experience. Track 3: High School Diploma / GED + 7+ years of job-relevant experience.
Core Requirements:
3+ years of experience in the Energy/Utility sector (Utility or Electrical construction experience required). 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Primavera (preferably P6) . Comprehensive understanding of design, construction, and program scheduling, including cost/resource loading and CPM methodology. Strong written and verbal communication skills to present schedule analyses and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
