Job Description The Jocelyn Benson for Governor campaign is seeking an experienced, organized, and demonstrated team player to serve as a Scheduler on one of the most high-profile races in the nation in 2026. The Scheduler will work directly with the Operations Team (and candidate) to create and implement a statewide candidate schedule. This role must be adaptable, creative, discreet, and willing to spend hours on small details. This position takes place in a fast-paced campaign environment that regularly requires accurate work on tight deadlines, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage competing priorities and projects. This is a full-time position based in Ferndale, Michigan (Detroit-Metro area). Job Responsibilities Work with the Operations Director and senior leadership team to build and manage a candidate schedule that aligns with campaign priorities Compile and organize all scheduling requests Maintain a statewide calendar of events Manage an interteam process that produces briefing materials for the candidate Occasional internal team scheduling and scheduling for senior members of the staff Manage the daily operations and organization of the campaign office Book travel for the candidate and accompanying staff All other duties as assigned Qualifications At least 1-2 years of scheduling or operations experience A demonstrated ability to manage multiple small details and requests at one time A demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively, and to follow through on multiple tasks A demonstrated ability to maintain discretion A desire to work long campaign hours, including evenings and weekends in 2025 Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines Access to a reliable car•preferably American and union-made
Compensation:
