Expeditor/Material Scheduler Responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient flow of raw materials through the supply chain, coordinating with suppliers, departments, and stakeholders to meet schedules. Cutting purchase orders, tracking deliveries and updating management on inbound deliveries. Role Overview Manage the movement of materials, coordinate deliveries, and resolve supply chain issues. Focus on material availability for production and project timelines. Key Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules, place purchase orders, and arrange expedited shipments when necessary. Monitor inventory levels to avoid backorders. Track orders and deliveries from order placement to final receipt, updating systems with real-time status. Resolve supply chain issues such as late shipments or delivery delays. Communicate with purchasing manager, production manager, and other departments to ensure seamless workflow. Coordinate with 3PL's, Import Agents, and Customs Brokers to insure timely customs clearance and delivery of parts. Skills and Qualifications Organizational, Problem-Solving and Analytical skills to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers, freight companies, internal teams, and customers. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of delivery dates. Proficient in Computers Proficient in Excel. Experience in SAP preferred. Experience in Importing and Logistics preferred. Automotive Experience is a plus.

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
