Job Description
Seeking responsible, motivated individuals for entry level data entry work and appointment scheduling. The right candidate for this job will operate with guidance from the full-time Supervisor. We are seeking a self-starter who is detail oriented to complete time dependent, data entry tasks each week as well as to organize and coordinate schedules and appointments between respiratory therapists and patients for the remote telerespiratory services with rtNOW. This position will rely on telephone skills to listen to the needs of the person requesting the appointment and requires the ability to manage multiple incoming and outgoing calls, calendars and appointment types. Multiple calls may be required to obtain the scheduled time. The scheduler will also manage cancellations and rescheduling. Data entry skills needed to complete medical intake in an accurate timely manner. Accuracy is extremely important and required. The individual will fulfill the required scheduled days/hours as the workload dictates. The position is part-time and performance will be assessed by completion of the necessary workload in a timely manner. HIPAA training will be provided with expected compliance.
RequirementsPosition Requirements:
- Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to notice data issues, adjust schedules, and report to the supervisor when necessary
- Receive feedback from the account team lead regarding completed work
- Follow intake quota and timeline requirements
- Data source monitoring for incoming data
- Communicate with supervising manager on your data entry progress
- Use technology to schedule appointments such as phone, e-mail, text or patient portal systems.
- Receive incoming phone calls, emails, and texts to greet patients, answer questions, coordinate scheduling, and provide a patient centered experience.
- Coordinate with health care professionals about schedules, patients and any changes
- Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur
- Background check and pre-employment drug screen required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills for managing incoming calls and working with both internal staff and clients
- A keen attention to details and the ability to adjust process according to patterns
- Independent worker with the ability to seek information and complete a job quickly with minimal supervision and guidance
- Professional voice and experience working with people
- Strong working knowledge of scheduling systems and computer skills. Ability to toggle between two monitors.
- Customer service and problem solving skills
- Prior data entry and/or phone scheduling experience helpful
- Clerical or administrative experience a plus
Technology Qualifications:
- Computer / Laptop with operating system no greater than 5 years old
- Internet browser and excellent desktop application skills Physical demands:
