Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Station Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing daily station activities, optimizing warehouse and transportation processes, and supporting supply chain efficiency. Your expertise will help drive operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction across our expanding network. Duties Oversee warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and materials handling to ensure smooth workflow. Coordinate transportation planning and logistics management using transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400. Monitor freight movement, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) activities, and international trade compliance to ensure timely delivery and regulatory adherence. Conduct data collection, analysis, and reporting utilizing tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, and spreadsheets to identify process improvements. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and oversee procurement activities including sourcing and category management. Implement process improvements through root cause analysis and supply chain analytics to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Facilitate cross-functional communication among warehouse teams, suppliers, carriers, and customer service departments to ensure seamless operations. Requirements Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations or warehouse management role with a strong understanding of inventory control, shipping logistics, and warehouse systems. Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis skills using SQL, Excel data analysis, spreadsheets, and ERP systems such as SAP or AS400. Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and inventory management systems. Ability to operate forklift equipment safely; forklift certification preferred. Strong negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers; experience in procurement or sourcing is highly desirable. Knowledge of international trade regulations, trade compliance, and freight forwarding practices (including 3PL providers). Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration; customer service orientation is essential. Ability to handle manual materials handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
