As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Client Operations Specialist to join our Livonia team. Role Overview The Client Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting advisors and ensuring a smooth client experience across brokerage/advisory accounts, annuities, and life insurance. This position focuses on three core areas:
New Business Processing:
Manage brokerage, annuity, and insurance applications from submission through completion
Case Coordination:
Work with advisors, clients, custodians, and carriers to resolve outstanding requirements and move new business forward
Client Service:
Support ongoing account maintenance, documentation, and service requests This is a detail-oriented, process-driven role requiring strong organization, communication, and follow-through. Key Responsibilities New Business Processing Prepare, review, and process new Schwab and Fidelity account applications Prepare, review, and process new annuity and life insurance applications Coordinate with advisors, clients, custodians, and carriers to obtain outstanding requirements and keep new business moving forward Track new business through review, approval, funding, and completion Resolve incomplete applications, outstanding requirements, and other processing issues Client & Advisor Support Process account maintenance and ongoing service requests Assist with account transfers, beneficiary changes, and account updates Support annuity and insurance service requests, including required forms and carrier documentation Assist clients with forms, signatures, paperwork, and general account servicing needs Provide advisors with timely updates on pending service items Maintain accurate client records within CRM and document management systems Ensure service requests are followed through to completion Support additional operational projects and process improvements as needed Qualifications Experience in financial services and brokerage, with familiarity in brokerage accounts, annuities, life insurance, custodians such as Schwab or Fidelity, and insurance carriers required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset Michigan Life & Health Insurance License and Series 65 preferred, but not required Compensation $75,000 annual salary for candidates who do not currently hold both the Michigan Life & Health Insurance License and Series 65 $85,000 annual salary for candidates who currently hold both an active Michigan Life & Health Insurance License and Series 65 Licensing is preferred, but not required for this position.
