Driving School is on the lookout for an Operations Assistant to join our growing team!
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Operations Assistant to join our team at Official Driving School . This position involves various tasks related to the maintenance, servicing, and support of our driving school fleet, as well as assisting with duties to help maintain our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and clerical tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving:
Operate school vehicles to transport materials, supplies, and vehicles between locations.
Car Maintenance:
Conduct minor maintenance on vehicles, including checking oil levels, filling tires, changing light bulbs, and other basic vehicle upkeep tasks.
Cleaning:
Clean and maintain the fleet of vehicles and office spaces, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment.
Fleet Management:
Work closely with instructors and operations staff to ensure all vehicles are well-maintained and ready for use.
Logistics:
Pick up and deliver materials, supplies, and paperwork to and from our offices, stores, and partner locations.
Mechanic Coordination:
Take cars to mechanic shops or oil change facilities for more in-depth servicing as needed.
Administrative Support:
Assist with data input, spreadsheets, and other computer-based tasks related to operations.
Other duties as assigned:
Perform additional tasks as needed to support the operations of fleet and facilities, you may be asked to cover other duties and responsibilities as seen fit by management.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License with a good driving record. Ability to perform basic car maintenance tasks (checking oil, filling tires, changing light bulbs, etc.). Proficiency with computers, including data input and basic spreadsheet management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work weekends as required. Previous experience in a similar operations or maintenance role is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to drive for extended periods. Physical ability to clean vehicles and perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

Part-time (20-25 hours per week), with opportunity to move to
Full-Time Pay:
$16 per hour
