We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented talent coordinator and Scheduler Position Overview The Home Care Staffing & Talent Coordinator is a dual-focus role that drives the heartbeat of our office. You will spend your time split between two critical functions: Talent Acquisition (recruiting, vetting, and onboarding top-tier caregivers) and Staffing Coordination (managing client schedules, covering callouts, and maximizing shift fulfillment). This position is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who loves puzzle-solving, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Talent Acquisition & Compliance (The Recruiting Funnel) Post job advertisements across platforms like Indeed and review incoming caregiver applications daily. Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and lead in-office interviews for potential hires. Oversee the full onboarding process, including running background checks, verifying references, and collecting mandatory certifications (CNA, HHA, TB tests). Manage active employee digital files to ensure 100% compliance with state and agency regulations. 2. Staffing Coordination (The Daily Puzzle) Build, optimize, and maintain weekly caregiver schedules to ensure all client hours are fully covered. Manage daily caregiver schedules Fill open shifts quickly Match caregiver skills to client needs Communicating with caregivers and clients Maintain scheduling accuracy and documentation Collaboratively cross-train and communicate daily with our management team to ensure seamless handoffs for evening/weekend on-call operations. Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Home Care Scheduling, HR Recruiting, Staffing Coordination, or Medical Office Administration. Highly proficient with computer software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), or home care scheduling platforms. Exceptional phone etiquette, verbal communication, and customer service skills. The ability to multitask under pressure and quickly problem-solve logistical emergencies (like sudden callouts). Strong professional boundaries with an understanding of strict healthcare compliance rules.
