Patient Journey:
Coordinate and book medical procedures, ensuring our patients have a clear, stress-free path forward. Be a
Proactive Advocate:
Stay in touch with patients recommended for care to ensure no one falls through the cracks or faces unnecessary delays.
Empower Through Education:
Deliver warm, compassionate financial counseling to break down insurance complexities, helping patients understand their benefits, copays, and options with complete clarity. Secure the
Details:
Proactively manage HMO referrals and insurance authorizations behind the scenes so care is delivered smoothly and without administrative hiccups. Problem-Solve on the
Fly:
Collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to balance schedules and build a seamless, welcoming clinical experience. What You Bring to the Team The Heart for the
Work:
A truly compassionate, positive attitude with a talent for talking through sensitive healthcare and financial topics.
The Knowledge:
A solid understanding of HMO referrals, pre-authorizations, and standard medical billing terms (deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance).
The Experience:
1-2+ years in medical scheduling, insurance verification, or healthcare financial coordination (Preferred).
The Tech Skills:
Comfort navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management software.
The Drive:
High attention to detail, great multi-tasking skills, and a proactive mindset.
