Job Description

Job Overview Southwestern suburban manufacturing firm has an immediate need for an experienced Planner to work with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Logistics in order to meet customer needs. The Planner will develop, maintain and optimize production schedules for their assigned product categories to meet customer demands, operational efficiency and inventory needs.

Duties Planner will develop and maintain production schedules Timely release of and maintenance of work orders Work with Procurement and vendors to assure materials availabilities Communicate schedule changes to stakeholders Planner will support New Product Introductions Plan for optimum inventory levels

Requirements Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines 4+ years of hands on experience in Planning, Scheduling, Materials Planning or similar functions in a manufacturing environment Strong MS Office especially Excel proficiency ERP/MRP experience especially in SAP Experience Production Planning and Capacity Planning as well as Inventory Management and Scheduling Data analysis and reporting Solid problem solving and strong attention to detail skills APICS Certification a
