What We Are Looking ForThe Production Planner/Scheduler position is responsible for managing and maintaining an accurate schedule for the can and treat production.

Essential Duties:

Responsible for forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levelsWorks closely with the purchasing team to ensure all items are onsite to meet demandsCollaborate with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needsPeriodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgement to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as neededIntegrates sales orders with Customer Service; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery datesMaintains master distribution schedule for the assigned facility; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delaysParticipates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staffDocuments SOPs for daily responsibilitiesOther duties as assignedQualifications4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent purchasing experienceKnowledge of purchasing and negotiatingExcellent communication skills both verbally and writtenExceptional leadership, supervisory and delegation skillsExcellent organizational skillsTeamwork, work closely with and cooperate with othersTakes initiative, works independently and acts proactivelyStrong problem solving skills and good judgement and reasoning abilitiesExcellent computer skills with Microsoft OfficeBenefitsHealth, Dental, & VisionWellness program discounts•up to $150 discounted towards health insurance monthly80 Hours of PTO Accrued in First Year of Employment7 Paid Holidays401k Match OpportunityOpportunity to meet with our onsite financial advisors Tuition Assistance •This opportunity is contingent upon successful completion of a drug test and background check.•
