$23-25 Job Overview The Radiology Scheduler will support a busy Diagnostic Services department scheduling imaging appointments and coordinating patient needs across multiple departments. The team manages approximately 150 scheduling transactions per day and supports CT, MRI, X-ray, Echo, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and PET/CT services. Candidates do not need experience with every imaging modality. Experience scheduling one or more types of diagnostic imaging is sufficient. Responsibilities Schedule diagnostic imaging appointments according to provider orders, department guidelines, and patient needs. Coordinate appointments for CT, MRI, X-ray, Echo, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, PET/CT, and other services. Review imaging orders, preparation requirements, and scheduling guidelines. Use Epic, Excellian Radiant, or other electronic scheduling systems. Maintain accurate patient demographics, appointment details, and scheduling documentation. Explain appointment details, preparation instructions, locations, and next steps to patients. Coordinate with providers, imaging departments, clinical teams, and other healthcare departments. Support insurance verification and authorization-related scheduling processes. Apply medical terminology when reviewing orders and coordinating imaging appointments. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Manage a high-volume workload while providing accurate and professional patient service. Requirements At least 1 year of radiology or diagnostic imaging scheduling experience. Experience scheduling appointments for one or more imaging modalities. Healthcare scheduling, patient access, radiology, imaging, or diagnostic services experience. Experience using an EMR, EHR, or electronic scheduling system. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple scheduling requests in a fast-paced environment. Medical terminology knowledge preferred. Epic scheduling experience preferred. Epic/Excellian Radiant experience highly preferred. Prior authorization and insurance verification experience preferred. Experience reviewing provider orders is preferred. Must be able to work 100% onsite in Shakopee, MN. Must be available Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. Must be a W2 employee of the submitting agency. Must complete Minnesota DHS NetStudy fingerprinting as part of the pre-employment compliance process.

Pay:
