Job Description
Position Summary The Service Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the appliance service department. This position is responsible for coordinating service calls, assisting customers, processing service orders, supporting technicians, maintaining parts inventory, and ensuring warranty claims and service documentation are completed accurately and on time. The Service Operations Coordinator serves as a central point of contact for customers and service personnel, helping ensure repairs are completed efficiently and customers receive exceptional service. This position will also be responsible for in shop support including LP conversions, loading and unloading appliances, as well as assisting customers with questions regarding appliance issues. Basic mechanical knowldege or experience with appliance repair is a must. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Customer Service & Scheduling Answer service department phone calls and assist customers. Create and manage service work orders. Schedule and coordinate service calls. Monitor customer interactions at the service counter and ensure a positive customer experience. Assist with the resolution of customer concerns and service-related issues. Service Department Support Coordinate schedules and service assignments for technicians. Pre-Diagnose machines for service calls. Serve as a resource for technicians and customers regarding service-related questions. Support efficient completion of repair work and departmental workflows. Assist with training and onboarding of service department personnel as needed. Assist with LP conversions and any other repairs in shop. Parts & Inventory Administration Process parts orders and receive incoming inventory. Maintain accurate parts inventory records. Assist customers with over-the-counter parts sales. Support annual parts inventory counts and reconciliation. Administrative Responsibilities Invoice completed service repair orders. Prepare, process, and file warranty claims in a timely manner. Maintain accurate service department records and documentation. Qualifications & Skills Required Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Technical Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based systems. Experience with scheduling, inventory, or service management software preferred. Basic mechanical or appliance service knowledge required. Experience Previous customer service or administrative experience required. Experience in appliance service, parts sales, inventory management, or repair operations preferred. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Every other Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:
