SCHEDULER-CMH HOS Fac Urology

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Scheduler to help care for our patients in the Urology Surgical Clinic.

About the department:

CMH Urology Surgical Clinic provides a variety of services for patients suffering from; urinary incontinence, ED, BPH, Peyronies, kidney stone management, hematuria, management of prostate and bladder cancer, and more. We also specialize in many state of the art surgical procedures including; Urolift, Interstim, iTind, Botox, vasectomy, bladder sling, robotic assisted prostatectomy, and prosthetics. Our office consists of one physician, two registered nurses, one advanced practice provider, one registered medical assistant, and two front office staff.

A typical day will include:

The scheduler is an integral piece of the healthcare team, working closely with the physician, physician assistant, nurses, and registered medical assistant (RMA). The scheduler is responsible for scheduling office visits, clinic procedures, outpatient and inpatient surgeries, pre-operative visits, and assisting with coordination of referrals. The scheduler will also help obtain prior authorizations for radiology services and keep VA authorizations updated. Additional responsibilities include; answering the phone, updating patient demographic information in the electronic medical record, obtaining up to date consents, collecting copays, and obtaining medical records, The position is: Full-Time, Days 7:45a.m-4:30p.m
