Job Description
OPC Clinic Scheduler, Monday thru Friday Knowledge/skills/abilities required Works carefully and precisely without creating unnecessary errors Is able to multitask and pays close attention to detail Takes time to explain and exchange information with customers Displays good organizational skills and utilizes time wisely Assesses each situation before taking action, seeks assistance and guidance when necessary Excellent written and oral communication skills 1 year of recent clinic or medical office experience desired . Needs strong computer skills, can work in multiple computer operating systems , strong telephone operator skills and ability to multitask. 80 hours ppd M-F Responsibilities Able to manage and prioritize demands from multiple patients; this can involve in-person or telephone calls Maintains composure under stress and continues to work effectively. Warmly greets all incoming visitors to the clinic and participates in Customer Service Utilizes telephone system including call queue, answering service operation, and multifunction facsimile machine. Utilizes Telephone Courtesy including taking messages, screening calls Uses appropriate tone of voice and positive attitude in communicating.
