Job Description

Want to understand how a consulting firm grows from finding a new client to delivering the work and understanding the numbers behind it? As an Operations Assistant at Meridox Group, you will work closely with the managing director and learn how the business runs across strategy, finance, client relationships, and day-to-day operations. Where you will start Prepare meeting notes, maintain action lists, and follow up on deadlines. Help organize project information, client records, and progress updates. Gather figures for budgets and profit-and-loss (P&L) reports, learning what they reveal about business performance. Research potential clients and prepare background notes before introductory meetings. Track project milestones, service targets, and client follow-ups. What you will grow into You will learn how consultants plan and deliver work, how the firm manages accounts and builds lasting client relationships, and how finance and economics shape decisions. You will join selected meetings, contribute ideas, and attend networking events where you can meet clients and other professionals. Our goal is to develop the right person toward an Operations Manager role within their first year . Progression will depend on the skills you build, your performance, and the needs of the business. Who this could suit You may have recently completed studies in business, economics, finance, or a related subject, or gained useful experience through another route. We are looking for someone who asks thoughtful questions, handles information carefully, communicates well, and is ready to take on more as they learn. Hours and pay Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. , with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break $50,000-$55,000 per year , depending on experience Optional Saturday hours, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. , for additional paid time working with the director and developing your skills; applicable overtime pay will apply If you want to learn the workings of a consulting business and build toward a management role, we would like to hear from you. $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
