Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator/Clinical Scheduler to join our dynamic healthcare team. This pivotal role involves managing the scheduling and staffing needs of clinical personnel to ensure seamless patient care delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare staffing processes. As a Staffing Coordinator/Clinical Scheduler, you will play a vital role in optimizing workforce utilization, maintaining compliance with employment laws, and fostering positive relationships with staff and management alike. Responsibilities Coordinate and develop staffing schedules for clinical staff, ensuring adequate coverage across all departments while adhering to regulatory requirements. Collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to identify staffing needs, facilitate candidate sourcing, and support full cycle recruiting efforts. Utilize talent management software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as UltiPro or Lever to streamline scheduling, onboarding, and employee data management. Conduct interviews and participate in talent acquisition activities including campus recruitment, external recruiting, and high volume recruitment initiatives. Manage employee relations by addressing scheduling conflicts, conducting employee evaluations, and supporting employee orientation and training programs. Ensure compliance with employment law in talent management practices, including HR legal compliance and employment & labor law regulations. Engage in relationship management with internal teams and external agencies through cold calling, social media marketing (recruitment), and lead generation strategies. Maintain accurate records of employee hours, payroll data using systems like Paychex or HR systems such as HRIS platforms. Support succession planning efforts by identifying potential internal candidates for future roles and facilitating training & development initiatives. Perform research on industry best practices to optimize staffing processes and improve overall operational efficiency. Skills Strong negotiation skills coupled with talent management expertise to attract top candidates efficiently. Proven experience in interviewing, candidate sourcing, and full cycle recruiting within healthcare or related fields. Proficiency in talent management software (UltiPro, Lever), ATS platforms, HR systems, Paychex, and HR legal compliance tools. Knowledge of employment law in talent management as it pertains to healthcare staffing practices. Excellent communication skills for effective relationship management across diverse teams and external partners. Ability to handle high-volume recruitment demands with precision while maintaining attention to detail. Skilled in social media marketing (recruitment) for candidate outreach and employer branding efforts. Competence in research, lead generation, training & development initiatives, and employee orientation programs. Familiarity with HR legal compliance standards related to employment & labor law within the healthcare sector.
