Job Description
A growing, employee-owned organization supporting the construction and engineering industry is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join its Data Analytics team in Granite City, IL. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in project scheduling, project coordination, or project management supporting construction, engineering, EPC, or capital projects. Strong Primavera P6 experience is preferred. Candidates with Project Management experience who have handled scheduling responsibilities and are interested in expanding their P6 expertise are also encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Develop design and construction schedules using Primavera P6.
- Build and maintain schedules for large capital projects.
- Develop resource- and cost-loaded schedules.
- Identify project activities, milestones, approvals, procurement items, and deliverables.
- Perform critical path analysis.
- Use conceptual drawings to develop logical project schedules.
- Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, superintendents, preconstruction teams, and contractors.
- Identify schedule risks and areas of concern.
- Update schedules based on project changes.
- Support operations with schedule and delivery challenges.
- Recommend solutions to improve project execution and efficiency.
- Perform site walk-downs as needed. Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of project scheduling, project coordination, or related experience.
- Construction, engineering, EPC, or capital project experience preferred.
- Project Managers with strong scheduling experience will also be considered.
- Primavera P6 experience preferred.
- Experience developing resource-loaded schedules preferred.
- Critical path and milestone scheduling experience.
- MS Project or similar scheduling software experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple project teams.
- Ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to research and solve problems.
- Willingness to perform site walk-downs as needed. Compensation & Benefits
- $90,000-$125,000 based on experience
