This role is part of our Maritime Defense Systems business, which delivers integrated solutions with decades of proven performance across submarine, surface, and autonomous naval platforms supporting high-priority national defense programs. Our bow-to-stern capabilities include acoustic and sonar protection systems, propulsion systems, advanced composite structures, missile subsystems, canisters and launchers, and autonomous underwater vehicle subsystems. From concept through production, we combine engineering, materials expertise, specialized manufacturing, and large-scale testing to deliver mission-ready systems that reduce technical risk and support long-term operational performance.
As an Integrated Scheduler, you will develop and maintain enterprise-level schedules that connect program milestones, production sequencing, capacity forecasts, and cross-functional execution. You will ensure schedule accuracy, integrate ERP data, and provide leadership with clear visibility into constraints, resource needs, and schedule-driven risks. Your work will help teams coordinate effectively and deliver complex manufacturing programs on time.
ScheduleThe work schedule follows a 410 configuration: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with every other Friday off.
ResponsibilitiesMaintains enterprise scheduling standards, templates, calendars, milestones, and work breakdown structures to ensure consistency across programs.
Oversees schedule development and updates in Microsoft Project and Project Server, ensuring schedules are resourceloaded, logically linked, baselined, and aligned with execution needs.
Reviews schedules submitted by Program Schedulers and provides corrective guidance to strengthen logic, sequencing, resource loading, and feasibility.
Supports Program Managers and Program Schedulers with integrated master schedule development, analysis, and recovery planning.
Translates program schedules into actionable production schedules and partners with Operations to align manufacturing sequences, production rates, and work center requirements.
Integrates ERP actualsincluding labor hours, material costs, and performance datainto schedule analysis to improve forecasting and variance identification.
Develops and maintains fulltime equivalent (FTE) manpower plans and resourcecapacity models to forecast staffing needs and identify constraints.
Performs criticalpath and nearcriticalpath analysis, identifies schedule risks, and develops recovery plans or alternative scenarios.
Ensures crossfunctional schedule integration across Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Facilities, and other teams.
Provides leadership with accurate forecast dates, workload projections, and visibility into emerging risks and capacity constraints.
Required QualificationsBachelors degree in project management, business, engineering, operations management, supply chain, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.5 or more years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, production planning, manufacturing scheduling, or a related discipline.
Experience with Microsoft Project and enterprise scheduling systems.
Understanding of Project Server or enterprise project management environments.
Experience developing and maintaining integrated master schedules.
Experience with resourceloaded schedules and manpower planning.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, and schedule or resource reporting.
Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and incorporating actual labor hours and costs into project or production analysis.
Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable information for Program Managers and leadership.
Understanding of manufacturing or production environments.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Deltek Costpoint or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Experience integrating Microsoft Project or Project Server with ERP actuals.
Experience with product data management (PDM) and material requirements planning (MRP) systems and workorder processes.
Experience with composite manufacturing, aerospace or defense, shipbuilding, or other engineeredtoorder production environments.
