Job Description
Durbin USA, a Uniphar company, is a leading provider of sustainable 3PL solutions for life science clients. We operate a GMP-compliant and ISO 13485-validated facility providing temperature-controlled warehousing, logistics, value-added services, and customer service support tailored to regulated pharmaceutical and medical-device partners. The Operations Associate I supports day-to-day activities such as receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping. This role ensures accuracy, cleanliness, and GMP compliance through disciplined execution and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of warehouse tasks — receiving, put-away, picking, packaging, and shipping — in alignment with daily goals.
- Execute all work per GMP, SOPs, and Work Instructions to preserve product quality and traceability.
- Accurately record transactions in the WMS/ERP system to maintain inventory integrity.
- Maintain GMP-controlled and ISO-classified areas, following gowning and cleanliness protocols.
- Use equipment safely and correctly (pallet jacks, forklifts, scanners, and printers).
- Inspect inbound shipments for damage or nonconformance.
- Package outbound shipments using validated materials and approved methods.
- Complete all documentation clearly and legibly in accordance with GDP (Good Documentation Practice).
- Follow all safety and hygiene requirements, including PPE and cleaning routines.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and compliance goals.
Position Qualifications:
- High-school diploma.
- Minimum three (3) years of professional work experience in; warehouse experience is required.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable following defined procedures.
- Computer proficiency (WMS, ERP, or Microsoft Office).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation and availability for overtime as needed.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Mostly controlled but potentially varying internal environmental conditions, including temperature and noise changes within acceptable safety levels typical to a warehouse environment.
- Work may involve long-term standing, sitting, and frequent walking throughout areas such as warehouses, re-packaging, or Engineering labs and navigating common hazards related to these areas.
- Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 occasionally.
- Must be able to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk.
- Weekend and overtime work may be required.
- Additional physical duties may be required as necessary.
