CEENTA is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Refractive Cataract Surgical Scheduler to coordinate surgical care and support our physicians and clinical teams. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure seamless surgical scheduling and an exceptional patient experience. What You Will Do Schedule all refractive cataract and laser surgical procedures, including post-operative visits. Counsel patients on premium intraocular lens (IOL) options and pricing. Serve as liaison between physicians, clinical teams, and patients. Verify physician orders, CPT codes, and diagnoses. Prepare surgical documentation including consents and clinical notes. Coordinate surgical equipment and scheduling logistics. Manage physician block time and improve scheduling efficiency. Respond to patient inquiries and provide pre/post-op instructions. Document patient communications in EHR. Ensure correct scheduling of procedures and resources. Assist clinical teams as needed. A Typical Day Coordinate surgical schedules, communicate with patients and providers, prepare documentation, and ensure patients are fully prepared for procedures. Schedule Shift schedule will fall between Monday
  • Friday, 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM Hours may vary based on clinic and physician needs Qualifications What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical setting required
Preferred:
surgical scheduling, insurance verification, Epic experience Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail Knowledge of medical terminology and workflows Excellent communication skills Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
