Join Our Team as a Staff Scheduler! Are you experienced in staffing within a healthcare setting and looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a Scheduler to join our compassionate team at Smithfield Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining staff schedules, coordinating staffing levels, and ensuring that our patients receive the best care possible. Why Join Us?

$20-$27/hr based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on assessment and care plan information for new and existing clients. Maintain all scheduling of caregivers and respond to situations where scheduling conflicts, emergencies and/or "call-outs" arise. The company schedule must be complete three days before all scheduled shifts. Track and record in company software for all scheduling changes. Communicate and provide input to the internal staff on hiring needs on a regular basis. Audits timecards on a regular basis to ensure hours match scheduled hours. Demonstrate an ability to identify and solve problems; uses initiative and good judgment to reach quality decisions. Coordinate and adjust staffing levels based on patient care needs. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new staff members. Maintain accurate staffing records and reports.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one year in a staffing/scheduling/logistics position with in a Long Term Care Health Setting Strong understanding of staffing needs and scheduling requirements. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficient in using staffing software. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
