Job Description

Expedite or defer operations and materials that alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Work closely with buyers and production routers to adjust material and operations that may change the production schedule. Create plant capacity reports and reports relating to potential late customer shipments. Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data by performing mathematical calculations to determine customer sequences and lead times of manufacturing processes. Release and schedule production jobs. Create and submit customer acknowledgements when required. Converse with Production Manager over any potentially late shipments and routes the information either to the salesperson or customer, if requested.
Professional Competencies:
Ability to forecast and set in motion plans for production of parts. Persistent in finding problems and then solving them. Ability to multitask and prioritize duties to meet production demands. Adaptability to changing situations with scheduling.
