full-time Position Summary The Junior Production Planner is responsible for coordinating production schedules and supporting planning activities within a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with production, materials, quality, and customer-facing teams to ensure efficient scheduling, inventory management, and on-time delivery performance. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain production schedules using ERP, MRP, and shop floor systems. Translate customer demand, forecasts, and order requirements into executable production plans. Communicate priorities and schedule changes to production teams and supervisors. Monitor production performance, machine utilization, and schedule adherence. Participate in daily production meetings and support weekly scheduling activities. Coordinate with production, quality, and materials teams to address shortages, delays, and schedule conflicts. Assist with resolving issues related to customer demand changes, inventory constraints, and late shipments. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes, reporting, and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate planning data, schedules, and production reports. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years of production planning, scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain experience. Experience with ERP and MRP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments.
