We are looking for a Medical Administrative Assistant Rockstar to provide support to day-to-day operations by performing administrative tasks and ensuring high quality organization for the practice, its providers and management. You should be able to multitask and prioritize. We expect you to handle sensitive information confidentially. If you are able to combine exceptional communication skills with an ability to perform 'behind the scenes' tasks, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our medical facility's smooth operation by accurately completing administrative tasks in a timely manner. Per diem Position is no more than 20 hours per week to be worked between Monday through Friday 8:00am to 7:00 pm and Saturdays 8am-6:00pm excluding holidays. Responsibilities Use medical software to assist in practice needs Must be flexible and able to adjust to fast pace and unexpected changes Must be a self-starter and able to work for long periods of time productively without direct supervision Must be able to work as a team member Schedules screening and recall procedures Complete all paperwork associated with procedure preps Monitors all calls from patients who have questions regarding preps and procedures Mails recall letters Other duties and responsibilities as designated by the
Supervisor Requirements:
Skills Possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills Possess good judgement and insight Hands on experience with medical software and MS Office Knowledge of healthcare operations Customer-oriented communication skills High school diploma or
GED Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Medical office: 1 year (Required) Computer skills: 1 year (Required) Customer service: 1 year (Required)
