Operations & Community Outreach Associate - Soccer 5

Bayonne, NJ Reports to: Operations Supervisor / General Manager Pay & Hours $17.00 per hour + generous new-customer commission/incentives Increase to $18.50 per hour after six months based on performance Up to 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends About the Role Soccer 5 Bayonne is looking for an energetic, outgoing and commercially minded Operations & Community Outreach Associate . This is not simply a front-desk or facility role . We are looking for someone who can do two things exceptionally well: 1. Help us operate a fantastic indoor soccer facility. Deliver great customer service, keep the facility clean and game-ready, manage customer check-ins and bookings, and create a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. 2. Help us grow the Soccer 5 community. Get out into Bayonne and the surrounding area, introduce Soccer 5 to new people and organizations, build relationships and turn those relationships into new customers. Community outreach and customer acquisition are a core part of this position — not an occasional extra. Community Outreach & Business Development A significant part of your role will be spent outside the facility actively introducing Soccer 5 to the community.

This may include:

Visiting local restaurants, businesses, stores and community organizations Building relationships within Bayonne's Hispanic and Spanish-speaking communities Introducing people to Soccer 5's pick-up games, field rentals, leagues, tournaments, camps and birthday parties Developing relationships with local soccer groups, teams, coaches and community leaders Distributing promotional material and explaining our programs in person Following up with prospective customers you meet Encouraging groups to visit the facility and experience Soccer 5 Identifying new outreach opportunities rather than waiting to be given a list Tracking your outreach activity, leads generated and new customers acquired We don't want someone who is uncomfortable leaving the facility and approaching new people. We want someone who enjoys meeting people, starting conversations, building relationships and seeing those relationships turn into customers. Facility Operations When working inside Soccer 5, you'll also: Deliver outstanding customer service to players and families Manage customer check-in and assist with bookings Keep the facility clean, safe and game-ready Build relationships with existing customers and encourage repeat visits Promote Soccer 5 programs to customers Help maintain an energetic, welcoming atmosphere Complete opening, closing and facility-standard checks Take ownership of problems rather than waiting for someone else to fix them Stay productive throughout your shift Earn More By Helping Us Grow We want to reward people who directly contribute to the growth of Soccer 5 Bayonne. In addition to your hourly pay, we intend to offer a generous commission/incentive for new customers and organizations that you personally bring to Soccer 5. For qualifying new business, this could include commission based on the revenue generated by that customer during their first several months with Soccer 5. The opportunity can become particularly valuable for someone who develops relationships that lead to recurring field rentals, teams, leagues, parties, camps or other regular bookings. The more value you create for Soccer 5, the more opportunity we want to create for you. Strong performers who consistently generate new business will also receive priority consideration for preferred shifts and additional hours , subject to the operational needs of the facility. What We're Looking For The right person will: Be 18+ Be confident communicating in Spanish and English Be outgoing and comfortable introducing themselves to people they don't know Be willing to spend dedicated working hours conducting in-person community outreach Be comfortable asking for business and following up with potential customers Be reliable and willing to work evenings and weekends Have reliable transportation Enjoy soccer and working around players and families Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do Stay productive throughout every shift Take pride in doing the small jobs properly Be motivated by both personal earnings and helping grow the business Previous sales or business-development experience is helpful, but attitude, energy and willingness to get out into the community are more important. We'll look at: Quality of customer service Facility standards and reliability Outreach activity New relationships developed Leads generated New customers brought into Soccer 5 Repeat business generated from those relationships Your overall contribution to growing the Soccer 5 Bayonne community Career Growth This role has genuine potential to grow.
