This is a hands-on position responsible for assisting with the production of our raw canine food products while maintaining strict standards for safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and product quality. Key Responsibilities Assist with the daily production and preparation of Raw Health Canine Food products. Handle, weigh, prepare, grind, mix, package, label, and organize raw meat products and ingredients. Safely lift, carry, move, and handle products and materials weighing up to 100 lbs. Load and unload products, ingredients, and supplies as needed. Follow established recipes, production procedures, and food-safety requirements. Thoroughly clean and sanitize grinders, mixers, production equipment, tables, floors, containers, utensils, and other food-contact surfaces. Complete required cleaning and sanitation procedures before, during, and after production. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production environment at all times. Follow company procedures designed to prevent cross-contamination and maintain product quality. Properly store and rotate materials and finished products. Follow all company safety, sanitation, temperature-control, and food-handling procedures. Assist with freezer, cooler, warehouse, and inventory organization. Perform additional production, cleaning, warehouse, and operational duties as assigned. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding position.
Employees must be able to:
Safely lift and move products weighing up to 100 lbs. Stand and work on their feet for extended periods. Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, carry, and perform repetitive movements. Work safely around raw meat, commercial food-processing equipment, and wet production environments. Work in refrigerated, freezer, and varying-temperature environments as required. Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and detail. Comfortable performing physical work throughout the shift. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Willingness to learn Raw Health Canine Food's production, sanitation, and food-safety procedures. Food production, meat processing, warehouse, manufacturing, or sanitation experience is preferred but not required.
