LEAD SCHEDULING COORDINATOR

As we continue expanding our services throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties, we are seeking an experienced Lead Scheduling Coordinator to oversee caregiver scheduling, lead and mentor the scheduling coordinator team, and ensure seamless service delivery for our clients. Must have scheduling experience Position Overview The Lead Scheduling Coordinator plays a central role in keeping our care operations running smoothly. This position manages caregiver schedules, coordinates client needs, and ensures timely communication across teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, excels at relationship building, and brings strong organizational discipline to every interaction.
Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to incoming phone calls and emails with professionalism and urgency Maintain and update caregiver schedules Conduct comprehensive client intakes and gather essential service information Ensure client data is entered accurately and promptly into scheduling systems Schedule Caregiver team members for both on- and off-campus clients
Requirements & Skills:
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in a healthcare setting, preferably home care, long-term care, or hospital Minimum of two (2 years of mentoring and collaborating with coordinator teams. Proficiency in scheduling software Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with caregivers, clients, families and scheduling team Ability to remain calm, resourceful, and solution‑focused in a fast‑paced environment Availability for evening and weekend on-call hours to handle emergencies is essential Must travel locally within service area
