$50,000-$65,000 per year, based on experience Position Overview We are seeking an organized and dependable Service Scheduler / Coordinator to support our fire protection service department. This position is responsible for scheduling and coordinating both union and non-union field technicians , managing daily service logistics through ServiceTrade , handling incoming customer calls, and assisting with emergency service requests. Experience in fire protection, construction, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, service dispatch, or scheduling is preferred but not required . We are willing to train the right person who is organized, dependable, comfortable with technology, and able to use good judgment and common sense. Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate union and non-union service technicians using ServiceTrade . Assign technicians based on location, availability, qualifications, job type, and priority. Coordinate technician schedules to reduce unnecessary travel and downtime. Adjust schedules for emergency calls, cancellations, delays, call-outs, and other changes. Schedule inspections, service calls, repairs, approved quoted work, and return visits. Communicate schedules and job information with technicians and customers. Monitor open and incomplete jobs and coordinate required follow-up work. Maintain accurate scheduling, customer, and job information in ServiceTrade. Answer incoming phone calls and route callers to the appropriate employee or department. Receive emergency service calls, gather necessary information, and coordinate the appropriate response. Assist customers with scheduling questions and appointment updates. Coordinate with service management, billing, estimating, and other office staff as needed. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate: Is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Has good judgment, common sense, and problem-solving ability. Communicates professionally with customers and field technicians. Can remain calm and organized when schedules change or emergencies arise. Is comfortable learning and working with computer-based scheduling software. Pays attention to detail and follows through on open items. Is dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Is willing to learn the fire protection industry. Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required : ServiceTrade Service scheduling or dispatching Logistics or route coordination Fire protection HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or construction service Customer service or reception Field-service operations
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$50,000-$65,000 per year , depending on experience. Candidates with limited industry experience may be considered toward the lower end of the range, while candidates with previous ServiceTrade, service scheduling, dispatching, or construction-service experience may qualify toward the upper end.
