Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, ensuring ingredients are ready for service and maintaining quality standards. Support cleaning duties including dishwashing, sanitizing workstations, and maintaining a tidy environment throughout the restaurant. Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and ensuring guest spaces are welcoming and comfortable. Greet guests warmly as a host/hostess, manage reservations, and seat guests promptly to enhance their dining experience. Take accurate orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay them to kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery and attentive guest relations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities while maintaining excellent phone etiquette for reservations or inquiries. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential! Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for order taking, cash handling, and POS operation. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and perform cleaning duties effectively. Experience with beverage preparation or barista skills is a plus but not mandatory. A friendly attitude combined with excellent customer service skills to create memorable guest experiences.
