Responsibilities:

Cylinder Handling & Sorting:

Efficiently move, sort, roll, and organize gas cylinders by type, size, and status (empty vs. full) in designated storage areas.

Cylinder Maintenance:

Scrape, prep, clean, and inspect cylinder surfaces for testing, painting, or refilling.

Facility Maintenance & Cleanliness:

Keep the yard, dock, and plant facilities clean, organized, and free of hazards.

General Operational Support:

Assist plant operators, filler technicians, and warehouse leads with general tasks as needed.

Safety & Compliance:

Adhere strictly to all OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards regarding compressed gas storage, personal protective equipment (PPE), and manual handling.

7:00 AM

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 20 lbs regularly, and move/roll gas cylinders weighing up to 20 lbs using proper material handling techniques and equipment. ...

Ability to work comfortably outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions typical for the Sparks/Reno area.

Punctuality & Reliability:

Strong attendance record and ability to consistently work the designated 7:00 AM

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to step in wherever help is needed.

Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous warehouse, general labor, or industrial gas experience is a plus.
