Job Description

Operations Coordinator The Operations Coordinator will report directly to the Executive Director and work closely with the Head of School and Director of Finance. As a key member of the Business Office, the Operations Coordinator will provide direct support to the Executive Director and play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school. Under direction of the Executive Director, the Operations Coordinator will serve as a primary point person on campus, helping oversee day-to-day operational needs and coordinating with faculty, staff, administration, vendors, and other members of the school community. The position will involve a broad range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
  • Supporting the Executive Director with day-to-day operational and administrative responsibilities.
  • Serving as a point person on campus and helping address operational needs as they arise.
  • Working closely with the maintenance team to help coordinate facilities, building, and maintenance-related needs.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of school events and programs.
  • Assisting with Business Office functions and special projects as needed.
  • Supporting the school's lunch program and related operational efforts.
  • Troubleshooting issues, coordinating solutions, and following projects through to completion.
  • Taking ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities from inception through completion.
  • Collaborating with faculty, staff, administration, parents, vendors, and lay leadership to support the school's overall operations.
  • Performing additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned. Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively, multitask, prioritize, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the institution, including faculty, staff, administration, parents, vendors, and lay leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and responsibilities from inception through completion.
  • Strong judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience; experience in a school or educational setting preferred.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends, particularly in connection with school events and programs.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation:
$65,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience.
