Job Description

Position Summary NorcaTec is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Expeditor to support our Sales and Project Teams with vendor pricing follow-up, order tracking, delivery status, documentation, and general administrative support. This position plays an important role in helping move customer opportunities and orders forward by following up with vendors for both timely pricing information and product delivery. The ideal candidate is dependable, persistent, and comfortable communicating regularly with vendors and internal team members. This role requires strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple open requests, orders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Follow up with vendors to obtain pricing and quotations requested by the Sales and Project Teams. Track outstanding vendor quote requests and follow up as needed to help ensure pricing is received in a timely manner. Communicate vendor pricing status and outstanding requests to Sales, Project Managers, Buyers, and other team members. Follow up with suppliers regarding order acknowledgements, expected delivery dates, product availability, shipping status, and required documentation. Track open purchase orders and supplier commitments and maintain accurate, up-to-date information in company systems and spreadsheets. Obtain and record vendor acknowledgements, order confirmations, expected ship dates, and shipping notifications. Provide regular order and delivery status updates to Sales, Project Managers, Buyers, and other team members. Follow up on outstanding supplier documentation and communicate missing or incomplete information to the appropriate team member. Identify overdue pricing requests, orders, missing information, or potential delivery issues and escalate them to the appropriate internal team member. Assist the Sales and Project Teams with routine vendor communications and follow-up throughout the quoting and order fulfillment process. Maintain organized records of vendor communications, pricing requests, order status, delivery dates, and documentation. Perform data entry and ensure pricing, order, and delivery information is entered accurately and timely. Use Microsoft Excel and internal systems to track vendor quotes, orders, deliveries, and outstanding items. Assist with general administrative and coordination activities supporting the Sales and Project Teams. Communicate professionally and persistently with vendors and internal team members by phone and email. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, order management, purchasing support, expediting, administrative support, or a similar role preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong follow-up skills and ability to keep track of multiple open items and deadlines. Comfortable communicating with suppliers and internal team members by phone and email. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. Accurate data entry and recordkeeping skills. Ability to identify missing or inconsistent information and follow up to obtain clarification. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a sales, purchasing, supply chain, or project management team. Experience tracking purchase orders, customer orders, shipments, or vendor documentation. Experience using an ERP, order management, purchasing, or similar business system. Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry is helpful but not required. Salary $22.00-$25.00 per hour, negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications. This position may also be eligible for an incentive plan based on individual performance and company meeting defined targets. Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
