Project Scheduler O'Connell Electric Company - 3.9 Rochester, NY Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $100,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Primavera Accubid Primavera P6 Working on electrical projects Productivity software Microsoft Project Technical Proficiency Project stakeholder communication ProCore Full Job Description Project Scheduler We are currently hiring a Project Scheduler based out of our Rochester or Syracuse, NY office. This is an onsite position; candidates must reside within 50 miles of our office. O'Connell does not offer relocation assistance or sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. This is a full-time position with fluctuating working hours; some evening and weekend work will be required. A success candidate must have proven experience in the Electrical Construction industry. A project scheduler creates, manages, and tracks project timelines, ensuring tasks meet deadlines by developing schedules, monitoring progress, analyzing critical paths, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and critical path analysis. Coordinate task assignments, resource allocation, and dependencies. Monitor project progress, identify risks/delays, and recommend mitigation actions. Generate and distribute project status reports for management and stakeholders. Ensure schedules align with project goals and company-wide deadlines. Support the entire life-cycle of an EPC project, including conceptual schedules for design development.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (Project Management, Engineering, or related) preferred. Experience (1-3+ years) in a related industry.

Strong analytical, communication (verbal & written), and organizational skills.
Key Skills:
Time management, attention to detail, stakeholder communication, critical path method (CPM) knowledge.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Microsoft 365, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency with project management software - specifically, MS Project, Primavera (P6), Procore and Accubid. Experience and comfort with Cloud based tools is helpful. Strong technical aptitude to learn and master company specific tools and programs is required.
Compensation:
The minimum and maximum annual salary that O'Connell Electric Company, Inc. believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting is between $80,000 to $100,000 annually. It is important to O'Connell Electric that potential candidates for this position understand that compensation depends on numerous factors including the geographic location where the role will be performed, skills required, experience, complexity, travel, and market rate.
