What You'll Do As an RN Unit Operations Specialist, you will: Provide clinical leadership and support for daily nursing operations within assigned households. Promote person-centered care by honoring each resident's preferences, choices, and individualized care plan. Conduct nursing assessments and coordinate care for changes in resident condition. Develop, review, and communicate individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations, policies, and standards. Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Partner with physicians, nurse practitioners, residents, and families to coordinate care and communicate changes in condition. Complete resident and family rounding while addressing questions and concerns. Investigate incidents, complete required documentation, and communicate findings to nursing leadership. Support admissions, discharges, physician rounds, and medical order transcription. Mentor, coach, and support nursing staff through orientation, education, and ongoing performance feedback. Assist with interviews, staff development, and monthly staff meetings. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, committees, continuing education, and leadership activities. Serve as the Director of Nursing's designee as needed, including participation in an on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
