Job Description

Milacron is looking for a Field Service Scheduler to join our team in Batavia, Ohio. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling field service activities to ensure timely and effective support for customers. The Field Service Scheduler serves as a key point of contact between customers, field service technicians, and internal departments, ensuring service requests are managed efficiently, communicated professionally, and supported with the necessary tooling, parts, and equipment.
Work You'll Do:
Schedule and dispatch field service technicians in support of customer service requests, installations, repairs, retrofits, and preventive maintenance activities. Coordinate technician assignments based on skill set, availability, customer requirements, and geographic location. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate emergency service calls, customer requests, and changing business priorities. Monitor technician schedules to maximize efficiency, utilization, and customer satisfaction. Serve as a primary point of contact between customers, field service technicians, and internal departments. Provide customers with timely updates regarding technician schedules, arrivals, and service expectations. Coordinate the shipment and delivery of tooling, parts, and specialized equipment required to support service activities on Milacron equipment. Manage service requests efficiently while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Maintain professional and effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders. Support exceptional customer experiences through proactive problem-solving and service coordination.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Customer service experience in a customer-facing role required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple customer onboarding activities simultaneously. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred. Knowledge of company products, services, and aftermarket support processes preferred. Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management skills. Ability to deliver training and effectively communicate technical information to customers. Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
