Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong emphasis on safety, quality and productivity, and possess a variety of skills to ensure the smooth operation of our material flow. This role is crucial to ensure the production process runs efficiently and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. We offer competitive wages, based on your skills and abilities. Responsibilities:
Create daily, weekly and monthly run schedules for the Extrusion process, aligning with the production plan. Collaborate with Sales, Quality and Production teams to ensure proper material handling and available resources for each job. Monitor production progress and adjust as needed to meet deadlines. Order raw materials and coordinate with management and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials. Lead inventory management to track usage and forecast future needs. Collaborate and schedule for all three shifts to manage production flow effectively. Maintain accurate records of production and communicate updates to management. Identify production delays and develop contingency plans. Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Proficiency in computer systems and mathematics necessary. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Working Environment:
Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
