Business Operations Partner - Hands-on operating partner to the owner Specialized Skincare Manufacturer Cincinnati, OH The Role We are a specialized skincare manufacturer looking for a sharp, organized partner to work alongside the owner and help keep the business moving forward. This is not a traditional executive assistant role, and it is not a lab or production-lead role. This person sits in the middle of the business — connecting the owner, clients, vendors, production, quality, and day-to-day operations. You will take priorities, problems, and unfinished work and turn them into clear action and completed results. Some days you will manage the owner's priorities and follow up with clients. Other days you will chase a vendor, organize production paperwork, or help stand up a new system. You will see how the entire business works and have a hand in improving it. We will teach you the skincare and manufacturing industry. We need someone who is smart, fast, trustworthy, and has a bias for action. What You Will Do Be the owner's trusted operating partner Track priorities, commitments, decisions, and follow-ups so nothing gets lost Take an assignment from idea to completion with minimal direction Identify what needs attention before it becomes a problem Handle confidential information with care — formulas, financials, and client relationships Take whatever the business needs that day and finish it without being chased Keep clients and projects moving Own follow-ups with key clients to ensure production needs stay on track Coordinate vendors, quotes, orders, and internal handoffs Coordinate the business Organize documents, schedules, batch records, and project lists so information is easy to find and act on Help implement and keep clean our MRP / quality systems — turning goals into simple, usable process Support daily operations: scheduling, task tracking, cost awareness, and communication across the team Who This Is For The person who wins this role is organized under pressure, writes and speaks clearly, and treats unfinished work as a personal problem. You do not need to already be a chemist or plant manager.
