About the Role We are looking for a Medical Scheduler to join our team and play an important role in supporting CAC's mission. In this position, you will: Be the first point of contact for all medical clinic clients. You will assist in organizing medical records and in ensuring animals are healthy and ready for adoption. What You'll Be Responsible For Your day-to-day may include: Provide excellent customer service to all clients, including fosters, adopters, volunteers, and staff Coordinate daily appointments and surgeries for all shelter, foster, and adopted animals, including scheduling, checking in and out, and any follow up communication with caregivers Triage incoming phone and email requests for appointments, treatments, and medications, according to protocol Stay current on shelter medicine best practice and follow shelter protocol Perform any other shelter duties as directed by the Medical Manager or Medical Director. Escalate complicated medical or customer service issues to the Medical Team or Medical Operations Manager Process inventory deliveries and Pharmacy supplies Attend and participate in all required training sessions and meetings Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Able to work in a high volume, fast-paced, high-stress environment Supporting additional organizational needs as they arise What Makes Someone Successful in This Role We're looking for someone who: Is passionate about CAC's mission and animal welfare Brings a positive, team-first attitude Communicates openly and professionally Takes ownership and solves problems proactively Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Can balance compassion with accountability Is dependable, adaptable, and eager to learnQualifications Preferred/Required:
