You'll coordinate materials, inventory, scheduling, and follow-up so every production run has the right materials, in the right quantities, in the right place — before it starts. You'll reduce shortages, inventory errors, delays, and administrative load on production leadership. This role doesn't set production priorities; it maintains the plan and flags gaps early. What you'll do Maintain the production schedule and run a readiness checklist for each upcoming run (materials, quantities, specs, lot status) 7-14 days ahead of start Prepare and maintain work orders; keep ERP/inventory systems accurate (consumption, finished goods, scrap, transfers) Run cycle counts, investigate variances, and help standardize inventory locations and labeling Coordinate pre- and post-production material staging with the warehouse team; expedite missing or delayed materials Build pre-run, changeover, and post-run checklists; send concise readiness reports flagging risks and required decisions Help document standard work and recommend process improvements to reduce shortages and manual errors What you'll need 2+ years in manufacturing coordination, production planning, inventory control, warehouse ops, or materials management Experience with production schedules, work orders, and inventory/ERP systems Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and comfort working both at a desk and on the floor Solid spreadsheet skills and ability to learn operational systems Nice to have Experience in food, chemical, packaging, or other regulated manufacturing Cycle counting, barcode scanning, lot tracking; forklift certification Familiarity with Airtable, ERP/scheduling tools, or Lean/5S practices
Pay:
$28.00 - $33.00 per hour
