Job Description
Waterview Pointe, a skilled nursing facility in Marietta, Ohio is now hiring for a scheduler/nurse (must be LPN/RN) that is committed to clinical excellence and resident satisfaction. We look forward to meeting you! As the scheduler, you'll be responsible for: Creates schedules for Nurses and STNA's based on established routines and required staffing needs of the facility. Maintains center coverage at all times. Reviews and tracks requests for time off. Serves as liaison with staff with respect to work schedules. Negotiates schedules balancing center's staffing needs, federal and state laws and regulations, and employee schedule preferences. Personally, responds to emergency situations to ensure center coverage. When not available to respond, ensures all Unit Managers are briefed daily on the protocol to ensure adequate response and coverage. Maintains confidentiality with respect to all employee information. Complies with and promotes adherence to applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including but not limited to those within the standard code of conduct, Federal False Claims Act and HIPAA. Ensures timely and accurate reporting and responses to compliance-related issues and monitors the implementation of corrective action plans related to such issues. Ensures that staff participates in orientation and training programs including but not limited to all required compliance courses and relevant policies and procedures, and that such training is properly documented.
