Job Details Central Scheduling | Miamisburg | Full-time | First Shift Responsibilities & Requirements Knowledge and Skills Required Demonstrates through behavior Kettering Health's mission, vision, and service standards as outline in the organization's training Exceeds competence and uses critical thinking skills promptly to resolve consumer inquiries within the assigned functional area Adheres to all established workflows, scripting, and department greetings Creates an exceptional customer experience by setting proper expectations and consistently following through with end-users Continuously achieves key department performance objectives such as quality assurance and productivity Handles sensitive matters courteously and with professionalism. When appropriate, can escalate to leadership for proper awareness and/or resolution Demonstrates consistent and punctual attendance Upholds high energy and positive attitude, even when under pressure Adapts quickly to change and balances multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Thoroughly document all interactions and consistently update consumer records in relevant technology system Exhibits a desire to continuously learn, improve service delivery, and work in a team environment Ability to schedule for multiple department/service areas in all hospital/ outpatient departments Ability to schedule various testing including but not limited to procedural scheduling including anesthesia cases Perform other duties as assigned by department leaders Qualifications and Experience High School Completion or equivalent Previous clerical / physician office training Epic/EMR 1 Year experience Medical Terminology Computer Literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products Ability to function in a fast-paced call center environment. While maintaining a respectful, caring, and professional manner Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Previous registration or scheduling experience Overview Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
